Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that delivers those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of search entries. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create routine logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information helps operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the reference. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
County and state portals, libraries, archives, and search providers are outside services. Their own policies control information submitted there, including information entered through sponsored results.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers may process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising providers can receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise only as stated here.
How We Protect Your Data
The reference uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the purposes described here. It has no visitor accounts, passwords, or user profiles to maintain.
Users Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
For covered businesses, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541, provides rights to access, know, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. Because we keep very little, requests can be made through the Contact page; we will review the contact mailbox and relevant logs and remove information when appropriate. Chapter 541 does not require Texas governmental bodies to remove public records, so requests about county or city records belong with their custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Changes will appear here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
